Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiologic technologist program.
• ARRT (R) and CT certification required.
• Arkansas State license to practice radiology.
• Current CPR certification and ability to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Operates X-ray and CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images per physician instruction.
• Reviews images for quality and ensures proper exposure settings.
• Explains procedures to patients and addresses concerns.
• Maintains radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.
• Communicates with radiologists, staff and patients to ensure smooth workflow.
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly quality control and reports issues.
• Trains new employees and may travel to clinics as needed.
