Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and CT required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years in medical technology.
• Minimum 2+ years CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients.
• Prepare patients and position for scans as requested by physician.
• Assist radiologist with IVs and contrast administration.
• Administer intravenous contrast and monitor for reactions.
• Evaluate CT image quality for diagnostic usefulness.
• Schedule procedures and maintain patient records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
