Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Research in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support daily activities of early-phase oncology trials. You will ensure protocol adherence, data integrity, and patient safety under supervision.

This role involves direct patient interaction and coordination across multiple protocols. Responsibilities include monitoring studies per GCP, training staff, assisting with screenings and consent, and collaborating with the PI on SAE reporting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical research experience.
• Basic understanding of oncology clinical trials, particularly Phase 1 studies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation.
• Working knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and clinical trial management software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with sponsors, CROs, and staff regarding protocol status and questions.
• Monitor day-to-day conduct of studies per protocol requirements and GCP.
• Create/review forms for trials to assure protocol compliance.
• Maintain study files with standardized labeling and filing procedures.
• Train staff on protocol implementation and patient management.
• Assist with patient screening and eligibility determination.
• Facilitate informed consent process ensuring proper completion.
• Identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions with leadership.
• Assist data team with case report forms and query resolution.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigator to submit Serious Adverse Event reports.
