Job summary

Sarah Cannon Research Institute is a leading oncology research organization conducting community-based clinical trials in Dallas. This Manager Clinical Research Support role oversees clinical support operations, regulatory compliance, and patient experience at the Dallas clinic.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team and optimize workflows while ensuring GCP/GLP compliance and SOP development aligned with corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in clinical research, healthcare, or related field required.
• 1+ years of work experience in clinical trial operations.
• Experience with GCP, GLP, HIPAA, OSHA, and IATA regulations.
• Proficiency with clinical trial databases and electronic data capture.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/SharePoint) and EMR experience.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing clinical/research environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and mentorship for Lab Research Assistants, Clinical Research Assistants, Tissue Coordinators, and Program Manager, Executive Support staff, Medical Assistants, and Front Desk Coordinators.
• Oversee biospecimen collection, processing, shipping, and documentation per protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate vital signs, ECGs, and laboratory specimens, ensuring protocol adherence and data integrity.
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality across all clinic and research activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor departmental SOPs, and align with guidelines.
