Virginia Cancer Specialists, an affiliate of US Oncology, seeks a Full Time Clinical Research Coordinator for our Fairfax office. The role coordinates screening, enrollment, and ongoing patient management on clinical trials, ensuring protocol compliance and accurate data entry.

The coordinator collaborates with physicians, educates patients, and supports regulatory documentation in a fast-paced oncology clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a clinical or scientific field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a clinical or scientific field, oncology preferred.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential patients for eligibility in collaboration with physicians.
• Present trial concepts and obtain informed consent; enroll patients in trials.
• Coordinate patient care per protocol, dispense investigational drug and provide patient education.
• Maintain investigational drug accountability; document changes in condition and adverse events.
• Review protocol billing guides and submit billing information.
• Support recruitment goals and strategies for participant retention in trials.
• Provide required clinical assessments and assist with regulatory documents.
