Job summary

Actalent in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (Oncology) to support a portfolio of approximately 45 active oncology trials. You will screen, recruit, consent patients, and conduct study visits, including phlebotomy and ECGs, while collaborating with data and regulatory teams at multiple Southern California sites.

The role requires travel to Glendale, Long Beach, Fountain Valley, and Whittier clinics, with onsite hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator in oncology.
• Experience screening, recruiting, and consenting patients for clinical trials.
• Proficiency in conducting study visits, including obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and conducting ECGs.
• Experience with chart review to assess patient eligibility for oncology clinical trials.
• Willingness to travel between multiple sites across Southern California.

Responsibilities

• Screen, recruit, and consent patients for oncology trials per study protocols.
• Perform chart reviews to identify eligible patients and verify criteria.
• Conduct study visits for 2–3 patients per day with required procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs per protocol.
• Perform phlebotomy and handle specimens according to procedures.
• Conduct ECGs and document results accurately.
