Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center currently seeks a regular full-time Clinical Research Associate - Oncology to support the Clinical Research Services team in Shadyside and Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA. The role floats across oncology disease center studies, working Monday through Friday during daylight hours.

Under supervision of the Clinical Research Manager, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to facilitate trials and independently manage protocol-related tasks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field is required or four years of clinical research experience.
• Experience with study coordination, data collection, and document management.
• Knowledge of CTMA, FDA submissions, IRB processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assists in entering subject trial registration and study status updates into CTMA.
• Coordinates initiation, site evaluation, monitoring visits, and sponsor audits.
• Verifies subject eligibility by reviewing records and test results.
• Creates study-specific source documents, CRFs, and visit checklists.
• Ensures patient records and test results are reviewed prior to entry.
• Performs consent process and study implementation for trials.
• Processes required documents for research protocols.
• Responsible for data collection and day-to-day protocol management.
• Supports all main functions of the department as needed.
