Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is seeking a regular full-time Clinical Research Associate - Oncology to support the Clinical Research Services team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will float across Oncology Disease Center studies, working weekdays with daylight hours.

The CRS team includes nearly 200 staff coordinating oncology-focused trials, data collection, and protocol management under the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute umbrella.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field or four years of experience in clinical research or three years with certification.

Responsibilities

• Enter subject trial registrations and study status updates into CTMA.
• Coordinate initiation, site evaluations, monitoring visits, and sponsor audits.
• Verify subject eligibility via medical records, labs, radiology, or CT results.
• Create study-specific source documents, CRFs and visit checklists.
• Review and obtain patient records, slides, radiology tests, and lab results prior to entry.
• Conduct consenting and study implementation for various trials.
