Job summary

VHC Health is seeking an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to promote evidence-based, cost-effective and safe regimens for inpatient and outpatient care. You will work as a departmental resource and mentor learners while contributing to quality initiatives.

The role requires a Virginia pharmacist license, with BCOP to be obtained within 24 months and BCPS within 12 months, plus 3 years of clinical oncology experience and ASHP-accredited training where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD in pharmacy is required.
• Three years of clinical pharmacology experience required.
• Licensed pharmacist by Virginia Department of Health Professions required; BCOP within 24 months and BCPS within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Promote evidence-based, cost-effective, safe therapeutic regimens for inpatients and outpatients.
• Serve as departmental resource and liaison to healthcare professionals.
• Precept pharmacy students and residents; contribute to quality initiatives and ADR prevention.
