Position Overview

N-Power Medicine is hiring an Oncology Clinical Data Abstractor/Curator IV. This position is remote within the United States. The role involves collecting and maintaining comprehensive and accurate cancer data used to pre-screen candidates for clinical trials.

You will be part of a dynamic data abstraction team with the opportunity to impact clinical research and improve patients’ lives, while growing professionally in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will collaborate with our data and software teams to develop our platform by accelerating and innovating the collection of quality, regulatory-grade clinical data.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities
  1. Retrieve, curate, and distribute quality data sets from various EHR platforms.
  2. Ensure compliance and confidentiality with company policies, SOPs, and GCP.
  3. Participate in process improvements by providing feedback on workflows, user experience, educational resources, and tools.
  4. Contribute to data quality assurance activities and interface with quality management and biostatistics to resolve issues.
  5. Mentor and train new and existing team members.
  6. Assist with monitoring and prioritizing case assignments and team productivity.
  7. Champion technological advancements for workflow improvements.
  8. Maintain availability during core hours with flexibility for meetings.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include 5+ years of oncology data abstraction/curation experience from health information systems, preferred experience as an RN/LPN, CRA, or with professional certification, and experience with solid tumor and hematologic malignancies, including genomic testing data. Familiarity with EHR systems like OncoEMR and EPIC is preferred.

Travel Requirements
  • Up to 5% travel required.
Pay Range

Hourly rate: $35.00 - $41.00, determined by experience and location. Includes equity, discretionary bonus, and benefits for 30+ hours/week.
