Job summary

Texas Oncology in Cedar Park is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Oncology team. This full-time position supports the Cedar Park location with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 am–5 pm, and no weekend, on-call, or major holiday requirements.

The ideal candidate may be level 1, 2, or Sr depending on experience, with opportunities for LTIP and comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably at least one year in oncology.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care.
• Assess health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching materials.
• Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Facilitates clinical operations and patient care, including medication refill management, scheduling, triaging, and coordinating services.
• Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
