Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Oncology Clinic RN to provide professional care for adult oncology/hematology patients. You will collaborate with physicians, families and care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and education within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities include medication administration, chemotherapy delivery, knowledge of cancer therapies, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while demonstrating strong communication and cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse license for WA upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers, oversees and documents medication administration (topical, oral, IM, subcutaneous, IV) as ordered.
• Administers chemotherapy per clinical protocol.
• Applies cancer treatment knowledge to patient care within scope.
• Adheres to hospital policies, safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity to communicate with diverse patient populations.
• Maintains professional growth and meets mandatory requirements.
