Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Round Rock team. This full-time role supports patient care across our Round Rock location with a standard 8:30am-5pm schedule, Monday through Friday, no weekends or major holidays.

The position can be filled at Level 1, Level 2, or Senior based on candidate experience, with a focus on delivering evidence-based oncology care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
• 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess health status and patient/family needs; provide teaching materials.
• Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Facilitate and coordinate clinical operations and patient care, including medication refills and referrals.
• Triages patient phone calls and documents information in patient charts.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and connect patients with community resources.
