BIDMC Winchester Center for Cancer Care is seeking a compassionate Clinical Massage Therapist to provide brief therapeutic chairside massage in our infusion area for oncology patients. The role adapts treatments to individual needs, maintains logs, and upholds patient confidentiality.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited massage therapy program, Massachusetts LMT license, and experience in healthcare or oncology massage preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Massachusetts Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).
• Healthcare or oncology massage experience preferred.
• Ability to perform chair massage for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief therapeutic massage treatments to patients and staff in healthcare settings.
• Adapt treatment approaches to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling with supervisors and department leadership.
• Set up, maintain, and break down treatment spaces and massage chairs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional treatment environment.
• Attend department trainings, meetings, and events as required.
• Support promotional and outreach efforts for massage therapy services.
