Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred on an acute care unit; relevant clinical exposure acceptable.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of patient privacy regulations and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret basic medical and administrative documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care as part of a care team under RN supervision.
• Support unit clerical duties including admissions, scheduling, and documentation.
• Take vital signs, assist with phlebotomy as directed, and perform routine tasks.
• Maintain unit supplies and assist with room turnover and safe patient handling.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
