Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Outcomes Specialist to identify quality improvements, analyze patient outcomes, and support high-quality, patient-centered care on the G22 IMU unit. Evening shift on-site, 3:00PM - 11:00 PM, with Texas RN licensure and BLS/CPR certification required.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN and an MSN or related healthcare master's degree, plus 5 years of clinical nursing (3 in oncology).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Master's Degree in a healthcare field.
• Five years of clinical nursing experience including three years of oncology nursing experience.
• Current State of Texas RN license; BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality and process improvement opportunities.
• Lead and collaborate with the interprofessional team in planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient-focused care.
• Coordinate and integrate care across the continuum for assigned patient populations.
• Analyze patient data and outcomes to drive improvements in care delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
