Job summary
RN Cancer Guides is seeking experienced Oncology Nurses to assist Bradenton/Sarasota clients in navigating their cancer care. This role involves direct patient interaction to provide professional guidance and support throughout their cancer journey.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of oncology nursing experience, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications. This full-time position is committed to empowering patients and ensuring they make informed decisions regarding their healthcare.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in Oncology.
- Experience in case management, discharge planning, eligibility or membership.
- Current Florida RN or NP licensure.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients to identify medical care issues.
- Assist clients with developing scope of services.
- Coordinate healthcare across multiple providers.
- Liaison between clients and healthcare teams.
- Help clients understand medical conditions and treatments.
- Develop and implement action plans for clients.
- Provide clients with researched healthcare options.
- Coordinate medical appointments and compile records.
- Maintain HIPAA standards regarding patient confidentiality.
