Qualifications

• Three years nursing in acute care setting.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and one of: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Certified Nurse Perioperative Care (CNOR), Certified Asthma Educator (CAE), Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), Certified Gastroenterology RN (CGRN), Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON), Certified Pediatric Oncology Nurse (CPON), Oncology Nurse Navigator-Certified Generalist (ONN-CG)

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the health care system and assist with access to care issues.
• Develop relationships with service providers, tracking interventions and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and treatment options across the continuum of care.
