Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Saint Louis, MO to coordinate patient care across the clinic.

The role includes phone triage, prescription refills, physician communications, scheduling tests and procedures, and acting as the face of the office for patients and families. Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Registered Nursing.
• Certifications/Professional Licenses: Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or Red Cross, RN license (MO/IL as applicable).
• Work Experience: Nursing (2 Years).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinates patient care, orders diagnostic tests, conveys findings to physician, attends rounds and coordinates appointments.
• Assists physician and supports examinations, procedures and other direct patient care activities.
• Performs nursing administrative duties, ensures environmental safety and quality assurance.
• Acts as liaison and team leader, facilitating communication between patients, families and health team members.
