Qualifications

• Licensed in Illinois to provide advanced practice nursing services or physician assistant services per state acts.
• DEA registration for narcotics prescribing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Oncology experience and oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat oncology patients within scope of practice.
• Order, interpret, and monitor diagnostic tests and imaging results.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease, treatment options, side effects, and supportive care.
• Participate in clinical rounds, tumor boards, and interdisciplinary conferences.
