Job summary

The START Center for Cancer Care in San Antonio, TX is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner) to join our oncology team. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care alongside nationally recognized oncology specialists in a mission-driven environment.

This weekday-only role offers participation in collaborative tumor boards, patient and family education, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

Current Nurse Practitioner license issued by the Texas State Board.
1-3 years of advanced practice provider experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Conduct patient assessments and collaborate closely with physicians on treatment plans.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.
Prescribe medications and initiate interventions in accordance with established protocols.
Incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical decision-making.
Support quality outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance standards.
