Foley Cancer Center in Rutland, Vermont is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver comprehensive oncology care across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and telehealth settings within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

The role emphasizes detailed history taking, exams, diagnosing and managing oncology conditions, and developing treatment plans with patient education. On-call coverage occurs one weekend per month in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• NPs must hold a Master’s in Nursing, Vermont licensure, and national ANCC certification or equivalent.
• PAs must be graduate of an AMA‑approved PA program and NCCPA certified or equivalent.
• Experience in oncology or related specialty is preferred and licensure must be active.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology patient care under collaborative physician partnership.
• Obtain detailed medical histories and perform focused physical examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology-related conditions and treatment side effects.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory findings.
• Develop and implement treatment and symptom management plans.
• Provide patient and family-centered education and counseling.
• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and clinical communication.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
