Job summary

Kern Medical seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for outpatient clinics in Bakersfield, CA. This full-time role delivers primary care under physician supervision in oncology and medicine clinics.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved educational program for Nurse Practitioners and current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in California OR completion of a Physician Assistant training program approved by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance with active certification.
• Possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card at time of hire and maintain RQI Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide specified medical services to patients under physician supervision.
• Manage ongoing care for selected patient groups and coordinate with the supervising physician.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge to care for diverse age groups in outpatient settings.
