Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the Foley Cancer Center. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver patient- and family-centered cancer care across clinic, inpatient, ER and telehealth settings.

Work hours are Mon–Fri 8:00am–4:30pm with no weeknight call and one weekend per month on-call coverage. The role involves history taking, exams, ordering tests, assisting in procedures, and patient education on treatment

Formación

• Take medical history, assess condition and interpret findings.
• Prepare and maintain records, write reports and respond to correspondence.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance and continuous quality improvement.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff and public.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of human relations, group dynamics and quality improvement.
• Work well with interruptions and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide healthcare services following established standards and practices.
• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret X-rays, labs, ECGs and other diagnostics; assist with procedures.
• Administer injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care; assist in surgeries.
• Educate patients on prescribed regimens and home care; arrange referrals as needed.
• Maintain patient charts with progress notes and outcomes.
