Job summary

Foley Cancer Center in Rutland, VT is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our cancer care team. The position offers comprehensive oncology care across outpatient clinics, inpatient services, ED and telehealth, with a Monday–Friday schedule and limited weekend on-call.

The role requires a Master's in Nursing or PA program completion, VT licensure, and ANCC or NCCPA certification. Experience in oncology and EMR proficiency are preferred; on-site collaboration supports

Qualifications

Advanced Practice Provider with NP or PA background in oncology preferred.
Licensure and board certification as required (ANCC or NCCPA) per role.
Strong patient assessment and documentation skills.
Experience in multidisciplinary oncology care is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive oncology patient care under physician collaboration
Obtain histories and perform focused exams
Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology-related conditions and treatment side effects
Interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
Develop treatment and symptom management plans
Educate patients and families about care plans
Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, ED and telehealth
Maintain timely clinical documentation and communication
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
