Job summary

The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders in Bethesda, MD seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our oncology team. You will assist physicians, participate in rounds, and provide inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on patient-centered treatment. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program.
• Master’s degree required.
• APRN or PA license in appropriate state.
• Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply.
• Current certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P).
• Current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in the care and teaching of patients.
• Provide hospital and clinic coverage.
• Triage patients; participate in rounds.
• Document and report care in a timely manner.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
