CommonSpirit Health is in need of an Oncology Acute Nurse at Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves managing a busy caseload, coordinating patient care across various departments, and providing evidence-based nursing interventions.
The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A relocation bonus of $10K is available for eligible new hires.
As our Oncology Acute Nurse, you will help a unique patient population—including medical-surgical, oncology, and telemetry patients—by coordinating, supervising, and implementing evidence‑based care so they can receive safe, specialized treatment and achieve the highest level of recovery and patient satisfaction.
Every day you will work on our dynamic 32‑bed unit, managing a busy caseload of 4 to 6 patients per shift. You will be expected to utilize cross‑training opportunities across medical, surgical, oncology, and monitored telemetry beds, executing precise clinical interventions with a high sense of urgency.
