Position Overview

As part of our Precision Oncology Sales team, the Regional Oncogenomic Liaison II (ROL II) will develop and implement a plan to maximize the utilization of our products in targeted accounts, while staying within budget and compliance requirements, and support the corporate objectives. Products include Oncotype DX and RiskGuard (Hereditary Cancer Testing). The ROL II should provide high-level service, leverage key relationships, and be the best in class for an assay provider. The role involves solving challenging problems in a dynamic environment, building and maintaining relationships, and developing contact records in CRM to manage these relationships.

The ROL II provides critical information to all parties involved in sales, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure access to our products, working with managed care, reimbursement, advocacy groups, and providers.

Essential Duties
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory through regular field-based meetings with healthcare providers, including oncologists and their staff.
  • Develop new accounts and deepen existing ones.
  • Manage territory strategically, understanding market trends and competitors.
  • Create and execute tactical plans to maximize product utilization within budget, supporting corporate goals and providing excellent customer service.
  • Complete training on genomic testing and Exact Sciences products.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of disease states, products, and competitors to effectively influence physicians and stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders in oncology and pathology.
  • Attend sales meetings and conferences, collaborating with sales management and marketing.
  • Work as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism, organizational skills, and effective communication.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight and weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields or 4 years relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in oncology or diagnostics.
  • 1+ years in oncology sales, especially in chemo/immunotherapy or diagnostics.
  • Proven track record in diagnostic sales and territory management.
  • Valid driver’s license with minimal violations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical experience and sales in oncology diagnostics.
  • Strong relationships within oncology and surgical accounts.
  • Experience with NextGen Sequencing, liquid biopsy, hereditary cancer.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $196,000 annually, plus bonus and stock options. Benefits include paid time off, health coverage, retirement plan, and wellness support.
