Job description

Job Opportunity: Medical Oncologist

The Medical Oncology Hospital Medicine Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is seeking a full-time medical oncologist (MD or MD/PhD) for an academic clinical position focused on Waldenström Macroglobulinemia. Responsibilities include:

  1. Patient care within the Department of Medical Oncology and Division of Hematologic Malignancies
  2. Development and leadership of clinical trials
  3. Participation in clinical research
  4. Active role in the division’s multidisciplinary clinical activities

The position is based at both institutions and involves collaboration with other entities affiliated with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School. The role includes teaching fellows, residents, and students in inpatient settings.

Qualifications include:

  • MD or MD/PhD degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology

The academic appointment level (Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor) will be determined based on credentials. Salary and benefits are competitive.
