Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking an Oncologist to provide on-site services to eligible veterans at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. This full-time role involves interpreting genetic tests, managing patient care in emergencies, and administrating therapies, with a typical schedule of Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Applicants must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree, have an active medical license, and be able to pass federal background checks. Competitive compensation packages are available.

Qualifications

• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an approved school.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
• NPI report printout is required.
• Must pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Guide prescribing chemotherapeutic agents based on genetic testing.
• Conduct life-sustaining therapy conferences with patients and families.
• Manage and treat patients with blood disorders.
• Administer therapies including chemotherapy via various routes.
• Perform diagnostic procedures like lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies.
