Job summary

Corient is looking for a talented individual to manage client onboarding processes in Morristown, New Jersey. The successful candidate will facilitate the entire onboarding journey for our clients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and exceptional service.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in client service or operations within a financial services context. The role offers a competitive hourly pay range and a supportive work environment committed to employee growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience with financial tools and ability/willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and accounts, from WMA generation to account setup and funding.
  • Prepare and process new account paperwork including custodial forms, wealth management agreements, transfer forms, and required disclosures with a high level of accuracy.
  • Coordinate directly with clients to obtain signatures via DocuSign or mail.
  • Manage asset transfers including ACATs, rollovers, and wires.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client questions and needs during the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate closely with client service specialists and internal teams to gather information and ensure the completion of timely onboarding.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of operations or client service experience at an RIA or similar financial services company
  • Experience with Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Salesforce, Addepar, DocuSign, (competency or ability to learn quickly)
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requests
  • Able to work independently with minimal to no supervision but enjoy being part of a team
  • Must be confidential with all client and firm matters
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Pay Information

This position is non-exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of New Jersey. The pay range for this position is $30-$37 per hour. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements
  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.
  • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
U.S. Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
  • Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
