The Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role within the enterprise, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the new hire onboarding for both candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Drafts all Offer Letters (New Hires, Promotions, Transfers)
- Processes and files new hire paperwork, background checks, and drug screens.
- Assist in identifying process and candidate experience enhancements.
- Assist candidates with questions during the recruitment process.
- Meets regularly with the Talent Acquisition team to provide updates and receive new pipeline updates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong internal and external customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong Excel skills are a plus.
- Prior ATS experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and communicate/work well with others.
- General knowledge of Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources best practices and processes.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma required.
- 1 year of Onboarding experience is preferred.
- Experience with multi-state environment preferred.
- Logistics/Trucking Industry experience a plus.
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.

Candidates with more extensive or highly relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the overall pay band.
