Avera Health is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator for our LTC facilities. The role focuses on coordinating hiring and onboarding, working with applicants, and ensuring smooth employee placement and retention.
You will supervise administrative staff and support compassionate patient care within a Catholic heritage context. The position emphasizes timely onboarding, orientation coordination, and strong communication with supervisors.
Location: Avera Majestic Bluffs/Avera Sister James Care Center Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with rotating weekends and holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $19.50 - $25.50

The Onboarding Coordinator is accountable for coordinating hiring/on-boarding for Avera LTC facilities and works closely with applicants, Neighborhoods and Avera Sacred Heart Human Resources to ensure a seamless process with employee placement and retention. Supervises Administrative Assistants for the facility. Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals. Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
