Loft Orbital is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, implement, and refine onboard software powering our satellite missions in Colorado. You will drive features end-to-end, review code to ensure quality, and create robust unit tests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with Git and CI tools.
• Experience with build systems and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine software with ownership from concept to delivery.
• Review code and enforce standards and processes.
• Design and implement unit tests for codebases.
• Use version control to manage feature branches and releases.
• Contribute to onboard software architecture through design proposals.
• Coordinate with downstream teams on releases and adoption of new versions.
