ORBIS Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician (Mechanical) to support maintenance and planning for overhaul and repair of systems on U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers (CVN) and surface ships. Work is performed on board US Naval vessels in San Diego, CA, with a salary range of $55-$75K.

The role requires extensive experience with HM&E, C4I, and related shipboard systems, plus an associate degree substitution option and U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience operating, repairing, and maintaining naval propulsion hull, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams of naval hull, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• 2 years in a team leader or supervisor role desired.
• An Associate Degree may substitute for up to 2 years of technician experience.
• Specialized trades or manufacturer certifications may substitute for up to 2 years per major qualification.

Responsabilités

• Support maintenance planning and overhaul of equipment on US Navy carriers and ships.
• Provide technical guidance and training to Ship's Force operators and technicians.
• Assist with logistical support and maintenance planning for deployment readiness.
