Job summary

Qualifications

• Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) or apply for MMC within 60 days of start date.
• TWIC required.
• STCW certification (if required for service).
• USCG 719k medical certification.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with current operational status and off-going engineer.
• Maintain and operate all machinery and spaces on the vessel.
• Keep accurate engine logs and maintenance records.
• Monitor fuel, lube oil, and inventories; report conditions to Captain and shoreside management.
• Assist with deck work including docking and mooring operations and act as lookout.
