Qualifications

• Experience with diesel machinery, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of shipboard machinery and auxiliary systems.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and assist with maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Pre-employment drug testing and TWIC required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot shipboard machinery, including propulsion and electrical systems.
• Respond to technical issues within 24 hours and coordinate repairs.
• Support docking, logistics, and operational maintenance as needed.
• Implement maintenance schedules and ensure safety compliance.
• Document maintenance, repairs, and inventory; oversee contractors when needed.
• Collaborate with hotel officers and service crew to support guest service.
