Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the leading USA-flag cruise line, seeks a Cruise Director to lead onboard entertainment and guest programs across our 2026 season. You will manage presentations, activities and communications, ensuring a memorable guest experience with a high-energy, polished style.

Ideal candidates bring cruise/resort experience, premium presentation skills, and a collaborative spirit. This is a full-time role aboard our ships with travel, room and board covered.

Qualifications

• Cruise ship or upscale hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Excellent speaking and presentation skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are essential.
• Outstanding time management and attention to detail are expected.
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute entertainment, enrichment and activity programs.
• Communicate to guests via daily program, PA system, and on-board channels.
• Interact with guests during meals, activities and excursions.
• Greet guests departing and returning from shore excursions.
• Review schedules with Excursions Director and guests.
• Coordinate ship-to-shore communications and briefing activities.
