Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • First-Aid and CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • CDL certification and DOT medical card preferred per division and contract specs.
  • Maintain a valid herbicide application certification or equivalent per Wright Tree Service and applicable regulations.
  • Ability to obtain eRailSafe certification.

Responsibilities

  • Applies herbicide to on-track and off-track railroad areas.
  • Communicates with customers effectively to resolve concerns and plans for success.
  • Maintains accurate application records and performs routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Conducts pre-inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards.
  • Performs vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure proper working conditions and reports needs to Supervisor.
