Job summary

Ring Inc is seeking an Assistant Operator for a position requiring extensive travel across North America. The role demands responsibility for safe rail and road operations, as well as the maintenance of RFD vehicles. Candidates will assist the Chief Operator, ensuring adherence to safety standards, producing necessary reports, and maintaining a professional company image.

Successful applicants will possess a High School diploma or GED, an excellent safety record, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a pay rate between $21 - $24 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must continuously meet company & DOT Driving Standards.
• Experience with maintaining truck cleanliness and performing vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to manage costs and perform troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and efficiently while following all guidelines.
• Assist Chief Operator in marking rail defects.
• Produce necessary paperwork including e-log and maintenance reports.

Skills

Excellent safety record

Knowledge in computer programs, electrical and mechanical

Valid driver's license Class A or B with Air Brake endorsement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Teams)

Education

Minimum of a High school diploma or GED

Mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting knowledge preferred
