Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Field Technician for the Central Massachusetts area (Worcester, Leominster, Fitchburg) to perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on diesel, agricultural or heavy equipment. You will operate a company truck from home and work at customer sites with on-site troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of heavy equipment repair experience, strong knowledge of engines, powertrains, hydraulics and electrical systems, and

Qualifications

• Three years of heavy equipment repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of engines, powertrains, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Own basic tools and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections.
• Power washing and parts cleaning.
• Removal and installation of parts.
• Maintenance and testing.
• On the road diagnosing and troubleshooting.
• General repairs on the road.
• Drive company truck to customer locations.
• Maintain onboard parts inventory.
