Onward Search is assisting a leading industrial equipment company in Honey Brook, PA to hire a Weller/Fitter for on-site fabrication and welding. The role involves preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, reading blueprints and weld symbols, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience, knowledge of SAW/FCAW/GMAW/GTAW, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of welding techniques including SAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW.
• Ability to pass a physical assessment and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Formal training in welding technology or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for welding and fitting according to blueprints and work instructions.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical documentation accurately.
• Create fixtures and perform basic non-destructive testing procedures as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
