Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events seeks a Lead Wedding Planner for on-site, high-touch coordination in Asheville, NC. This contract role offers a per-project compensation with training provided and a flexible schedule, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will work with client experience managers and assistant coordinators to execute details, manage vendors, and guide couples through the wedding day challenges while maintaining calm, solutions-oriented leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a wedding planner or event planner (per ad).
• Strong communication and detail-oriented mindset.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding.
• Oversee wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Welcome and direct vendors; be the main point of contact on site.
• Communicate setup instructions to vendors to align with the event plan.
• Support the wedding party and family with timing cues and day-of needs.
