Job summary

HOME BY ASRA in Edmonton is seeking a Web Developer to design, code, test, and maintain website applications. You will consult with clients to document requirements, develop architecture, and ensure quality through testing and documentation.

Requirements include secondary school graduation and 1–2 years of experience. English language proficiency is essential; this is an on-site position with a permanent full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• Proficient in English communications.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements.
• Design and integrate website related code.
• Develop website architecture.
• Write, modify and test website related code.
• Write, modify, integrate and test software code.
• Maintain existing programs by modifications.
• Prepare mock-ups and storyboards.
• Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions.
• Prepare reports and manuals on software status and maintenance.
• Source, select and organize information for Website appearance and flow.
• Assist in collecting and documenting user requirements.
• Create and optimize content for Website using graphics, databases, animation, and other tools.
• Assist in developing technical specifications.
• Research and evaluate interactive media software products.
• Conduct tests and perform security & quality controls.
• Provide ongoing client support after sale.
