Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Shipper/Packer for the COSIS warehouse at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. You will prepare products for shipment, pack securely, label correctly, and ensure timely order fulfillment using the applicable automated systems.

The role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, pass a background check and drug screen, obtain a CAC, and hold a High School Diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass random drug testing.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products for shipment by packing securely and labeling packages.
• Place items in shipping containers according to type and size.
• Verify content and prevent damage using packing materials.
• Operate applicable systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
