Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. This on-site role is based in New Century, KS and offers the opportunity to contribute to safe, efficient warehouse operations within a major logistics hub.

You will receive, inspect, and process inbound materials, pick and ship customer orders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and distribution while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory verification and recordkeeping.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
• Experience using computer systems for inventory transactions, data entry, and order processing.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability and reliability.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively support operations and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process inbound materials while considering chemical and physical product characteristics to ensure proper storage and handling.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet delivery requirements.
• Utilize warehouse management and inventory systems to process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Verify product counts, quantities, labeling, and overall condition during receiving, storage, and shipping activities.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy and support operational excellence.
• Support compliance with safety, sanitation, quality, environmental, and food safety standards across warehouse operations.
• Ensure shipment loads are properly configured and secured to maintain product integrity during transportation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, customer service, and distribution objectives.
