Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Coppell, TX to support daily order fulfillment and warehouse operations. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, replenishment, and inventory maintenance with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Cross-training across disciplines ensures versatile coverage. Responsibilities include using pallet jacks and scanners, meeting KPI targets, and coordinating with site leadership to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Certification/Licensure: Valid forklift certification/licensure (or ability to obtain prior to operating equipment) preferred.
• Willingness and ability to learn and use warehouse systems, handheld scanners, and office tools in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, to understand safety and operational instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stage, sort, and position inventory using MHE.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare freight for shipping per procedures.
• Label, scan, track, and document freight with scanners and systems for accuracy.
