Job summary

Bosun is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Custom Manufacturing & Fabrication to lead day-to-day operations, build scalable systems, and drive growth. The role focuses on pre-construction through shipping, developing leaders, and modernizing processes to support a high-mix, made-to-order environment.

The VP will partner with executive leadership to align capacity, scheduling, and profitability, while expanding capabilities and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in progressive operations leadership in production/manufacturing
• Experience leading leaders across multiple functional areas
• Strong scheduling, capacity planning, and on-time delivery track record
• Experience linking estimating, costing, and profitability to operations

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational performance across all functions
• Develop and coach functional leaders and build accountability
• Improve capacity, scheduling visibility, and cross-functional project tracking
• Transition workflows from manual to integrated technology-enabled systems
• Establish and monitor meaningful operational KPIs
