Job summary

Cosm seeks an on-site Detroit shooter to capture immersive video and photography for live events and brand activations. This six-month role focuses 80–90% on shooting with limited editing, while post-production is handled by in-house LA teams to prioritize field footage.

You will be the on-the-ground creative lead for Detroit, owning content across events, brand moments, and partner activations with strong storytelling and independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a photo and video content producer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite software.
• Understanding of high-resolution video workflows and photography principles.
• Strong storytelling and client journey focus.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary shooter for the Detroit market, documenting live events and branded content.
• Capture high-quality video and photography with emphasis on immersive storytelling.
• Maintain a run-and-gun, high-volume content mindset for steady asset flow.
• Collaborate remotely with LA editors and marketing teams for asset delivery.
• Identify evergreen content opportunities across venues, talent, and environments.
• Direct commercial-style content on set and guide narrative and visual tone.
