Job summary

Cosm, a global technology company, seeks a Detroit-based shooter to lead on-site video and photography capture for events, brand moments, and partner activations. The role is 80–90% shooting with limited editing, while post‑production is handled by Los Angeles teams.

We require 5+ years in photo/video content production, a BA in film/photography or related fields, and proficiency in industry software. This is a six-month temporary assignment with a staffing partner, on-site in Detroit.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a photo and video content producer.
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, or DaVinci Resolve.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Notion is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary shooter for Detroit, capturing live events and branded content.
Produce high-quality video and photography with strong storytelling.
Operate in a run-and-gun, high-volume content mindset.
Collaborate remotely with LA editors and marketing for asset delivery.
Identify evergreen content opportunities and guide storytelling on set.
Support light editing when needed; post-prod mainly handled in-house.
